This is a brand newbie for us! Maguta Estate is located in Embu County, on the southern slopes of Mt Kenya. Lot 115 is from one of several estates managed in collaboration with local farmers. Farmers in this region have pooled their resources to create infrastructure they can all benefit from, and their local community has found great support from the coffee industry. These guys are using a new style of natural processing which encourages more fermentation and a longer drying time, 20-35 days. This has proven to be a more sustainable method, requiring less financial outlay, and greater consistency for farmers.

Our Glee family have roasted this coffee to suit both espresso/filter applications. We've partnered with our friend, Newcastle-based artist Ben Mitchell for this seasonal label design.
