Chelbesa sits in the heart of Gedeb, one of Ethiopia’s most celebrated coffee-growing regions. This lot brings together coffee from 915 smallholder farmers across Chelbesa, Danche, Chelchele and Kubi, grown at elevations of up to 2,200 metres above sea level.

Only the ripest cherries are delivered to the Chelbesa Washing Station, where they’re carefully pulped, fermented and washed before being slowly dried on raised African beds. This meticulous process creates a cup that’s clean, lifted and beautifully expressive.

Expect classic Ethiopian elegance, with notes of white peach, smooth bergamot and sweet vanilla bean. Graceful, tea-like and quietly memorable—this one’s an absolute treat on filter.
